Our Organisation
Who We Are
Be My Hand Initiative is a grassroots non-governmental organisation founded on the belief that every woman, girl, and child deserves access to life-changing support — regardless of geography or circumstance.
Our Foundation
Built on Compassion. Sustained by Purpose.
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Esther Isah Bila, Be My Hand Initiative (BMH) grew from a simple but powerful conviction: that one person reaching out a hand can change the trajectory of another's entire life.
Operating under the Esther Isah Bila Foundation (EIBF), we work in some of northern Nigeria's most underserved communities — delivering healthcare, education, nutrition, and livelihood programmes where they are needed most.
Our Values
What Drives Us Every Day
Compassion First
Every programme, every outreach, every decision is rooted in genuine care for the people we serve.
Community-Led
We listen to communities, design solutions with them, and build local capacity for sustained impact.
Integrity & Trust
Transparency and accountability guide everything we do — from fund management to programme delivery.
